Spiritual Path to Awakening and the United Church Earth Stewards invite you to celebrate Earth Day with a Slow, Silent Walk for Earth.

 

Friday, April 22, 2022 

In the gardens behind Abbotsford City Hall
Meeting location: The Cenotaph behind City Hall

11:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (duration is approximate)

There is no cost or registration required to attend. RAIN OR SHINE!

 

Join us in celebration of Mother Earth, and in support of climate change action.

This all-ages and abilities event will begin at the Cenotaph behind City Hall at noon. (Participants are asked to gather by 11:50 a.m.) Walking slowly and in silence, the group will circle the gardens before proceeding to the Golden Tree monument in the International Peace Garden behind Clearbrook Library.

The duration of the walk is approximately 30 minutes and is “rain or shine”, so bring your umbrella! 

The Cenotaph is located behind Abbotsford City Hall at 32315 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC V2T 1W7. Free, limited parking is available onsite at City Hall and behind The Reach on Trethewey Street, though car-pooling is recommended.
