Roll Around the World - A Cooking Class
Join Spiritual Path to Awakening (SPA) for "Roll" Around the World - A Cooking Class, led by local program leader Rose Soneff.
Every country has a “Roll” in their cuisine, for example, the crepe in France or Spanakopita in Greece. Spiritual Path to Awakening (SPA) invites lifelong learners in the community to join us for a 3-hour, hands-on cooking class, with local program leader Rose Soneff.
Rose will teach you how to make 4 rolls and how to adapt them for appetizers, entrees, or desserts. Enjoy what you made with classmates before taking home 8 tasty “Rolls” for a later treat. This is a hands-on course and recipes will be provided. Bring an apron and four reusable containers (able to fit rolls of 6-8 inches) to take your rolls home. Optional, bring along your favourite paring knife if desired.
The Rolls:
- Sweet Crepe (France)
- Samosa (Southeast Asia)
- Vietnamese Spring Rolls (Vietnam)
- Fried Vegetable Spring Roll (China)
*Kindly note: the rolls made in class will be vegetarian.
