The completed project will be an 11 X 14 acrylic painting on stretched canvas.

Who is John Le Flock?
Over the years, local artist and instructor John le Flock has helped many young artists develop creative skills and techniques. John began drawing and painting early in life and is mostly self taught.
John began his art career at The Vancouver Times Newspaper upon leaving school. There he was a cartoonist and advertising artist. Unfortunately the newspaper closed their doors shortly thereafter. He then was hired by B.C. Hydro and while with them later in his career did some program developments for various endeavors as well as drafting.
He began teaching when he retired from B.C. Hydro at the age of 56. First as a volunteer at The Great Blue Heron Reserve in Chilliwack, BC, and various community projects, etc. John also works as an Instructor for several BC School Districts, including classes for special needs students. Other groups he has been an art Instructor for include The Brain Injury Society, The Cultural Centre in Chilliwack, and The Fraser Valley Regional Library.
John teaches in oils, pastels, charcoal, pencil, acrylics and air brushing. He have also used a mixed-media style using more than one medium in one project.
